Crepuscular Rays: Photos

…and a good dose of anicrepuscular rays, too. I took these photos tonight at sunset, and the moon entered the frame for quite a sight. Crepuscular ray form when sunlight filters through gaps in clouds, dust, etc. It can also form when the sun goes behind tall objects, like a mountain top.

And as I said, I was able to photograph some anticrepuscular rays, too. They are found opposite the sun, and form pretty much the same way, but they are more faint and not spotted quite as easily. I was able to get both on the same evening. Cool!
